Old into new - 19 tons of e-waste being processed
Thanks to Pannon's first-of-its-kind campaign to recycle mobile phones, customers have handed in more than 81 tons (81 660 kg) of recyclable waste since 2004. During the end-of-the-year Christmas campaign, many customers bid adieu to their old mobile telephones. The 19 tons of e-waste collected from these returned mobiles will be recycled by Pannon in an environmentally friendly way, and – who knows? – maybe one day these components will find their way back to their former owners under a new guise.
