About Pannon
The development of the systems playing an important role socially is the aim of Pannon. Till now with its partners it developed three modern GSM technology system supplied with data transfer. The area received a bigger emphasis due to the proposal of EU published in November 2008 in which the union favours and presses that its member states make this type of services for more citizens available.
In an institutionalised form Pannon started working in 2004 on the development of such systems that have an important social effect. It was the aim that the company opens such market segments where the mobile telecommunication did not arrived yet but at the same time there is a potential that the standard may increase significantly on the given area with the new devices.
One of the important directions is the telemedicina: in Hungary Pannon laid the foundations of solutions related telemedicina with development of mobile EKG. The embryonic heart monitoring, DataMed hygienic data communication system lined up beside this in the course of the years or also the distance supervision solutions.
June 2008: DataMed presentation for the trade
In June 2008 Pannon presented DataMed system for the trade. The full mobile communicational background of the system is based on Pannon services included the opportunities provided by the sms, mms, wap and the mobile internet.
DataMed a portal affects one as a knowledge base beside the enabling of the data communication: with the help of it the doctors may get at the patients' fresh, up-to-date case history, the system contributes to the development of the suitable diagnosis, gives information about the most appropriate therapies and offers downloadable demo-materials, too.
Pannon achieved a serious result with its bulk SMS/MMS sending applications were built on its network elements that facilitates the work of the municipal sector and the municipal administration of indiviudals.
MÉDIA SMS/MMS service is also a type of service built on network elements (SMS centre; MMS centre) generating data traffic that positively cost effective solution for the media. Internationally unique device for the protection of expectant mothers and the babies
Pannon takes a part in the formation of a newer single medical novelty after mobile EKG. The embryonic and heart monitoring provide continuous home help for pregnant expectant mothers. The modern public health lays a big emphasis on the prevention; for the service there is already a big domestic and international interest. The health equipment was realized duly the cooperation of Pentavox Kft., Pázmány Péter Chatolic University, National Health Centre and Pannon. The device being used for the home examination of the embryonic action of the heart primarily that makes use of the surplus information following from the acoustic perception thus gives complex information about the state of the foetus and increases the diagnostic safety longer. The control expands on the standard measurement of the embryonic heart rhythm, the uterus contraction and the embryonic motion and onto the watch of the additional features of the action of the heart and the transmission of them. The measurement takes place on a passive manner, happens acoustically which provides a single opportunity for the measurements made at home with long time thus presents a cost-effective solution for the society, offers bigger sense of security for the expectant mother. The embryonic and heart monitoring provide bigger protection against the unexpected situations of childbirth, offers an opportunity for observations what the usual ultrasound examinations do not cover at all, the legally prescribed ambulant ones with 20 minute measurements can be revealed though only with a very little probability thus the embryonic decease, the probability of the premature birth may be reduced. The basis of embryonic and heart monitoring is an internationally single device, it is a GSM radio equipment. This through the GSM service providers' network sends the data measured via GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) – with special preprocessing and data compression procedure- into the processing centre, which is operating currently in the National Health Centre or the examining doctor may inspect, evaluate the data on his mobile phone prepared for this.
The consortium established by Pentavox Kft., Pázmány Péter Chatolic University, National Health Centre and Pannon won a tender for the realisation of the embryonic heart monitor nearly three years ago at the Office of Research development and Research utilisation. The internationally single measurement form Hungarian specialists drew up on a level that can be allowed shortly to offer as service for expectant mothers. The pilot system has already started in the National Healthy Centre.
Pannon had been always on an leading- edge in the development of innovative solutions, developed more services with its specialists' active intellectual collaboration beyond its material support which ones take advantage of the SIM card’s character of data transmission. So the Pannon Mobile EKG which has been working for a year in more hospitals in pilot operation.
