The Pannon House bore fruit
The new office block of Pannon, the Pannon House passed in September, 2009. came in for a high acknowledgement attributing the company's commitment for environmentally aware solutions,: the heat pump system built up in the office block deserved the „The biggest high hanging fruit”prize of KÖVET Association.

Pannon gained Good CSR 2008 prize
Pannon won the CSR Management Award of the Good CSR program launched in 2008. The professional jury justified the decision by asserting that based on the company's social report socially and evironmentally responsible behavior is part of Pannon's operating principles.
Pannon programme to support female employees awarded
Pannon’s work organisation programme for female employees received the special award “Best Women’s Workplace, 2007” from the weekly Világgazdaság. The award was received by Dr Emese Majorosi, Pannon’s Press and Information Department Director in Parliament.
Pannon Wins Contemporary Arts Award
In 2007, Pannon was awarded Summa Artium's Contemporary Arts Award, in appreciation of the outstanding cultural sponsorship activity of the mobile service provider. The award has been launched as a new tradition to acknowledge those working for the advancement of arts patronage.
International award for Telenor Group
This year Pannon's owner, Telenor was ranked as the best mobile service provider on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI). For the first time, DJSI, which ranks the 14 leading mobile communications companies in the world, found Telenor to be the best-performing group. This award to Telenor, a company employing more than 34,000 people in 12 countries, also acknowledges the sustainability performance of its subsidiary, Pannon.
"Investor in People" Award for Pannon
Pannon once again demonstrated that the company is able to meet the highest standards of international HR culture and remains worthy of the 'Investor in People' award for yet another year. This award is presented to organisations that invest the most into the value creating development of their employees.
This most prestigious international award for the development of human resources was first won in Central-Eastern Europe by Pannon in 2004. According to the decision of the panel of international experts, Pannon is also worthy of the award from 2007 onwards.“We are proud to have won this international award again. The value creating development of employees is central to our strategy, since the satisfaction of our customers depends on the work of highly qualified and committed employees,” said Róbert Kőnig, Pannon’s Chief HR Officer.
Business Ethics Award
In 2006 November, Pannon won the Business Ethics Award founded by Budapest Club Foundation and the business magazine Piac és Profit, in the category of multinational large enterprises. The award recognises Pannon’s ethical conduct towards its employees, customers, business partners and the environment and the Company’s social responsibility activities. According to the assessment of the panel of judges, Pannon’s conduct in business life sets an example to other business players.
"Style in the Business" Award
In February 2006, Pannon won Budapest Business Journal’s ‘Style in the Business’ Award. According to the decision of the journal’s panel, the award recognises Pannon as a successful service provider in the telecommunication market, which plays a key role in the formation and fostering of responsible business culture, especially by its support to public health institutions and its social responsibility embodied in the operation of the Pannon Példakép (‘Role Model’) Foundation.
"Best Customer Service 2004" Award
On the basis of the votes of Connect readers, Pannon was awarded the title of ‘Best Customer Service 2004’. Pannon’s customer service available at 1220 – free of charge within Pannon’s network – provides comprehensive service to customers.
"Leadership Award 2005"
Pannon Mobile ECG, a device that revolutionised remote diagnostics in the field of both health care and sports, was awarded IT-Business Magazine's 2005 ‘Leadership Award’ and received honourable mention at the 14th Hungarian Innovation Grand Prize.
"Investor in People" Award
In February 2004 Pannon GSM Telecommunications Plc won the first ‘Investor in People Award’ in Hungary. This award is the highest international recognition of excellence in the development of human resources. The award constitutes a milestone not only in the life of Pannon, but also in the HR culture of Hungary and even the entire Central-Eastern European region.
